Day 01 :
Beijing: First Encounter with Imperial China & Halal Culture

Arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport or Beijing Daxing International Airport, meet-and-greet by your private guide. Transfer to a halal-friendly hotel in Xicheng District near the Niujie (Ox Street) Muslim quarter. A small welcome amenity prepared in accordance with Islamic customs will be arranged in your room.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed walk around the Niujie commercial area to get familiar with the surroundings and feel the everyday atmosphere of one of Beijing’s main Muslim communities.

In the evening, follow your guide to explore characteristic streets around Niujie and get an initial sense of Beijing’s mix of imperial heritage and multicultural urban life.

Day 02 :
Beijing: Imperial Landmarks & Historic Mosque Walk

In the morning, visit Tiananmen Square, then enter the Palace Museum (Forbidden City). Walk along the central axis and admire the grand architectural layout of the Ming and Qing imperial palaces, while your bilingual guide explains the history and symbolism behind China’s royal culture.

In the afternoon, head to Niujie Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Beijing. Discover how traditional Chinese wooden architecture blends with Islamic cultural elements, and learn about its long history and religious significance.

In the evening, enjoy free time around Niujie, where you can feel the strong Muslim cultural atmosphere within a modern metropolis.

Day 03 :
Beijing → Datong: Ancient City & Islamic Heritage Connection

In the morning, depart Beijing by private vehicle for Datong, a key historic city in North China. On the way, watch the scenery shift from the North China Plain to the mountain landscapes of northern Shanxi Province.

In the afternoon, arrive in Datong and check in at a halal-friendly hotel in the city. Take some time to rest.

In the evening, visit the Datong Grand Mosque, focusing on the unique Ming-era bilingual stone inscriptions and the prayer hall that combines Chinese and Western styles. Afterwards, take a stroll along the Datong Ancient City Wall and enjoy the illuminated night views of the old town.

Day 04 :
Datong → Cangzhou: Buddhist Art & City Transition

In the morning, visit the world-famous Yungang Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With explanations from a professional guide, admire the exquisite Northern Wei Buddhist sculptures and feel the artistic and cultural achievements of ancient China.

Day 05 :

In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through downtown Cangzhou, soaking up the everyday life and local flavor of a traditional northern city.

Day 06 :
Cangzhou → Beijing: Return & Farewell

In the morning, drive back to Beijing by private vehicle. On the way, you may stop at a service area to buy local snacks or regional specialties.

In the afternoon, arrive in Beijing. According to your flight schedule, a private transfer will be arranged to the appropriate airport, marking the end of your North China Islamic & Imperial Culture Journey.
