Twin Cities of Jing–Jin · 4-Day Humanities Tour of Beijing & Tianjin

4 Days

Beijing and Tianjin offer two distinct interpretations of North China’s culture: one is the “Six-Dynasty Ancient Capital” threaded by the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, bearing millennia of imperial memory; the other is the “Pearl of the Bohai,” marked by treaty-port era boulevards and riverside wharves.

Beijing and Tianjin, two neighboring municipalities, form a vibrant tapestry of contrasting styles. As a six-dynasty capital, Beijing is steeped in profound history and imperial grandeur. Tianjin, once a concession area for nine nations, is famed for its unique colonial architecture, lively humor, and culinary delights. This journey is designed to unveil the fascinating contrast and harmony between these two cities.
